For those wishing to go further afield there is excellent canoing on the Dordogne. Depending on your chosen route you can paddle past Chateaux Castelnaud, Beynac and Milandes. Length of routes can vary from 3km upto 26km. One route we can recommend is from Cenac to Beynac taking in La Roque-Gageac one of the most beautiful villages in France - 13km taking approximately 2 and half hours.
